Arum calocasia or the Edible Caladium(India) known as Arbi in Hindi, Chamadumpa in Telugu, Patra in Gujarati. Both leaves and the tuber/bulb are edible. These plants are almost 4 feet tall with leaves 22 inches long and 14 inches wide. The tubers can be bought at any Indian grocey store and are very cheap compared to the bulb stores. Look for tubers with eyes ready to sprout.
